Nawá Hanami Messenger Bag

The latest bag from Nadine Mezher’s Nawá Project is a smart structured messenger bag called Hanami.

Hanami refers to the Japanese custom of enjoying the beauty of flowers, and more precisely the Sakura flower or the cherry blossoms as they only blossom a week or two.

Available in an assortment of colours, its classical structure features hand-made crochet detail, gold-plated hardware on the strap and body of the bag as well as subtle leather.

For the full range of bags from the new collection, check out the website. With the profits from each sale being put back into the community where the bags were made, it is great knowing that you are supporting others less fortunate in a Responsible Fashion.

Tree of Life Bag – Nawá

Tree of Life bag

Tree of Life bag

Tree of Life is the first creation by fashion conscious brand, Nawá, launched earlier this summer. It is a gorgeous luxury clutch bag with a retro style and elegant workmanship. Made from the finest materials with exquisite embroidery and leather detail with gold-plated label and chain strap, it is perfect for every occasion. You can be stylish in a responsible fashion!

Tree of Life marks the launch of Nawá, a fashion conscious brand established by Nadine Mezher. With an amazing mission ‘to implant sustainable improvement in peoples lives through fashion’ Tree for Life is a very appropriate subject, with Nawá meaning seed in Arabic.

Designer Nadine Mezher

Nawá’s first project will be a workshop located south of Beirut in Lebanon, Nadine’s home country. Profits from the sale of Tree of Life bags will go towards building capabilities and developing the skills of those living in the communities, helping them to generate income and improving their lives. With all profits from the creations are being re-invested in expanding the network of workshops where the people working get equal shares; it really shows that the bag is a Tree of Life.
