Dublin Fashion Festival

Dublin Fashion Festival  is only a week away and is looking like it is going to be the event of the season, the Dublin Festival Season that is. They say the best things in life are free….well it doesn’t get much better than this!!

With event programmes confirmed, advertisements and promotions in full swing, all that’s left is to round-up the girls and plan where you are going to hit and what events to attend!

From model searches to Moet cocktails, there is definitely something for everybody. Starting on Sept 8 2011, a day Vogue (and Anna) have put on the international fashion calendar, Dublin Fashion Festival runs over 4 days. The list of events is endless but here are some of my favourite things going on during the festival…

Fashionista’s VIP Afternoon Tea The Gallery @ The Westbury

With one of the most fashionable locations just off Grafton Street, The Westbury is offering a fashionable VIP afternoon tea in their gallery which looks over the famous shopping street. A great way to put the bags down, relax and take a break from all of the fashion festivities!

Barnardos Pop-Up Shop Fashion HQ @ Waterstones Building

Proving highly successful last year, Barnardos are bringing back all things vintage. From clothes and jewellery to shoes and bags, this will be one to visit during the festival for the unique find!

Young Designer Celebration Fashion HQ @ Waterstones Building

Being huge fans and supporters of home-grown talents, this is the first thing we will be going to see during the festival. Ireland’s most talented upcoming designers showcase their latest collections. It’s only a matter of time before they will be gracing the cover of Vogue!

Keville Hairdressing South Anne Street, Dublin 2

What better way to get prepared for a weekend of fashion fun than with a new do! Award winning hairdresser Alan Keville is going back to his roots and opening a fantastic new Keville Hairdressing salon in Dublin on September 9th. To mark the opening of the salon, fantastic discounts are being offered for the first two weeks. Give them a buzz on 01-6750022 to get your appointment.

Dublin Fashion Festival have a full programme of events listed on the website as well as all other essential information that every girl will need to get the most out of this fashionable, free event! Enjoy!
